TROMBONE

Duane has played trombone quite awhile as he played through college in many performance groups including a Jazz Lab Band that jammed with Dizzy Gillespie and others at several jazz fests.

He’s got varied musical interests including drum corps style marching bands, barbershop quartet singing, stage musicals, sacred choral works, wind ensembles, jazz, and Rock N Roll…not in any particular order.

Through his musical journey, he has appeared in many musicals and played in many pit orchestras. After taking a sabbatical from playing, he answered an ad in the paper to join a new big band at Terra State Community College. He’s been active playing there and in many bands and groups in Northwest Ohio ever since. He’s found that “lovin’ feeling” playing together in The Together Band.
