GUITAR and VOCALS

Born in Puerto Rico, Joe Reyes’ uncle would play guitar by his crib and Joe would jump up and start dancing. His uncle told Joe’s father that he was going to be a musician and play guitar. He was right. Self taught, Joe still enjoys music of all kinds from blues, rock, country, jazz and big band to salsa and other world music. His main influences are Santana, Al DiMeola and Jimmy Page. Joe played with a professional choir in Puerto Rico for several years and has always enjoyed playing island music.

Joe also played in a lounge band, rock and country rock bands. He plays cuatro, bass, acoustic and synth guitar, and also spends time writing and recording in his studio. Joe played with the majority of the current lineup before they became the Together Band and he can’t say enough about the band as a whole. Joe also feels lucky to have a wife that supports what he loves doing best.
